A knitted archipelago on a sunset sea at dusk.
Solmallow

A cozy adventure stitched from living islands.

Coming to Steam

The world is made of cloth, and it is coming apart

Once there was one continuous land and one continuous story. Matter, memory and promise were three strands of the same thread. A house stood because its timber remembered being a house.

Then the world was cut into islands, and the water between them is where no shared story won.

You wake beside an unfinished seam holding a needle that is not yours. The first thing anyone says to you is not a greeting. It is:

“Oh. You’re the wrong one.”

From the game

The meadow island, seen from above, with the player and a sprout companion.
The private garden island with crops, a windmill and a workbench.
The tide pools region at the water's edge.

A cozy game that is not a comfortable one

Danger here is framed through care, loss and repair rather than cruelty. You will not be punished for playing slowly. You will be asked, eventually, what a world is allowed to forget in order to stay whole — and the kindest answer is not the safest one.

Single-player. English, Russian, Spanish and Portuguese (Brazil).
